Description
For over fifty years, from 1951 – 2002, Eric and Ann Brown lived in a Frank Lloyd Wright home in the Parkwyn Village neighborhood of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Both Eric and Ann were involved with the construction of this Usonian home, including the roofing, electrical, and making the concrete blocks, and both were dedicated to maintaining Wright’s vision for the home. Featuring rare photos of Frank Lloyd Wright on the property, personal correspondence between the family and Wright, and interviews with three generations of Browns, this documentary is an endearing portrait of one of Kalamazoo’s preeminent families and the home they loved for half a century.
