Caution: This is a book for the serious Arts & Crafts woodworker. True to its title, the book presents detailed plans and commentary about three specific projects: a Voysey two-heart chair, a Harris Lebus sideboard, and a Hayrake dining table. But it is so much more. There is an introductory chapter on the Arts and Crafts movement in Britain and how the Arts and Crafts philosophy influenced early 20th century design and specifically the furniture that is the subject of the book. The book is lavishly illustrated with dozens of color photographs and detailed plans and specifications.
