The Craftsman house featured in this print is located on Hickory Drive in Maplewood, New Jersey. The house was designed and built by Gustav Stickley in 1909 for New York City businessman Ernest L. Prior. It is one of two Gustav Stickley-designed houses constructed in Maplewood. Stickley featured the house in an article in the September 1910 issue of his magazine, The Craftsman. The house is also featured and pictured (interior and exterior) in Ray Stubblebine’s Stickley’s Craftsman Homes at pp. 42-43 and 335-338 .  The print area is approximately 13″ x 14″; the outside dimensions of the printed paper are approximately 17″ x 17″ (the print is not matted).

We have just one of these signed and numbered prints remaining from a total edition of 75 prints.
