The Glasgow Style is a survey of a wide range of activity in the Glasgow arts and crafts, which were profoundly influenced by Charles Rennie Mackintosh but not exclusively indebted to him for their inspiration. In this book, illustrated with more than 200 beautiful black and white photographs, the authors show that there was a whole network of circumstances which led to a remarkably many-sided enterprise in the decorative arts in Glasgow in the early 1890s and which flourished for ten or twelve years.
